As humans, the pursuit of change and progress is something that is innate to every one of us. Like it or not, there will always be things in life that we hope could be a little different, a little better in the way that daily situations & events turn out. It could be in the way we think, speak, or the way we handle everything from our finances to our relationships with others. We seek to become better -- and we should. As we strive to continuously exceed our potential, we rise above all previous versions of ourselves and grow stronger. In this issue, we look at some ways in which we can embrace a better self and an even better future.

The Relentless Pursuit of Improvement

It is no secret that I believe growth is the only guarantee that tomorrow will be better. It is no mystery that I think personal growth is the steppingstone to success for any leader. If you or I want to stay in front of the curve and lead others, then we must do the work that keeps us out front. We must continually improve. But as I seek to improve, there is one thing I know not to chase, and that is perfection. Perfection is a trap. Do not chase perfection as a leader - chase improvement. Make today better than yesterday so tomorrow can be better than today. The relentless pursuit of improvement will take any leader far.

You can directly reduce the envy itself, or you can at least reduce the bad choices you make as a result of envy. Here are seven strategies I use to cut envy out of my own life.

Hazim. Engineer. SMRT.

Rion wasn't the 'pushy consultant' as i thought it would be. He took time to explain everything in details and answering to all my enqiries. He would also update me on any new info regarding the policies via whatsapp. I would happily recommend him to my friends if they every need his quality service. I'm glad that i met him 😊

Pei Shan. Micron Company Singapore.

When I first started working, I knew that insurance was something I wanted to get settled as soon as possible. It wasn't easy, however, trying to find the policy that best fitted my needs. Thankfully, I already knew Rion, and the way he helped to break down all of the facts into digestible bits helped me greatly in understanding what I needed. As a person, Rion is really helpful and responsive, always willing to go the extra mile, and I feel more relaxed now knowing that my portfolio is in capable hands.

Jia Chen. Military Expert. SAF.

With this letter, I'm writing to thank you and appreciate on all insurance knowledge you have provided to me and would like to take this opportunity to thank Jasper Teo from Prudential Singapore. First of all, I'm so in touch with Jasper's professional and advisory services, as when i was admitted into hospital, he came all the way down and visited me and assist me with all the insurance claims.

Yuan Rui. PSA.

Rion have been very understanding of my current affairs. At the time I had no wish to get any other insurance coverage in the foreseable future. The few times he insist we meet up for a chat, we reviewed the coverage that I have and showed me what I'm lacking in coverage. After the meets, I remembered a quote from long ago that no matter how rich or poor one is, it is common sense to get full coverage for your own health and life. The idea that if one's body is to breakdown from major illnesses you won't want to burden yourself further with the thought of financial affairs and the future of your close ones. It is reassuring to have the ease of mind that a brother in arms will assist you in times of need and helplessness. If I ever get myself in such a situation, all I ever need is to focus and take good care of my health. Since this is a testimonial for Rion, it is also reassuring that with his life's experience and examplary work experience (as you would too know) he would make his best effort for the people around him regardless. Talking to him have been uplifting. And you would too be affected by his high spirit and cheerfulness towards living a good good life.

Meng Wai. Airforce Engineer. RSAF.

Rion - Get to know this financial consultant through a friend of mine who was also his client. I am impressed with the way he break down my finances and recommend to me what i really need instead of hard selling. The explanation and rationale for each policy was explained clearly during the meet up which shows his professionalism in this industry.
